In this game, you'll encounter a variety of characters, primarily from within your cult, each playing a role in expanding your influence. Key figures include loyal followers, potential recruits, and notable individuals like the minister. The Dark Cultist seamlessly blends strategy with resource management, requiring you to tap various points on the map to gather essential resources like money and Menticide. Resources accumulate over time, but excessive greed can cause them to vanish. Policemen also appear on the map; tapping them will remove them, but delay too long, and their numbers will increase, complicating your management efforts.

Your tasks include recruiting followers, performing dark rituals to maintain their loyalty, or sacrificing them for resources. Construct and upgrade buildings to support your cult’s activities and boost your power. Designed for mobile platforms, the game offers intuitive touch controls—swipe to navigate different areas, tap to interact with characters and objects, and drag to manage resources and perform actions.
